Inspired by the combination of the Awajún tradition of wearing vanilla pods around the neck as a kind of perfume, and modern macrame wall hangings, these tiny ornaments consist of finely spun chambira tied and hanging bits of folded vanilla. There are very subtly fragrant! Handmade in the community of Cocoash by Gideon Wisum Chompi.
