Beautiful, free spirited hand embroidered Shipibo miniature manta bedspread with two toucans perching in the trees and a deer prancing through the shadows. This manta is a beautiful example of thoughtfully applied earth pigment dye, to highlight certain parts of the work. It is a very fine, colorful piece of Shipibo textile art.. The ground cloth is earth dyed cotton, typical to Shipibo textile work. Also included is the plant dyed Yanesha fabric, which you can use to make your own miniature accents, pillow covers for example.
