Very nice rectangular miniature basket made by hand with chambira palm fiber dyed with plants. This basket was made by Anamilena Silva in the Ticuna community of Nazareth, Colombia. One of her first! The fiber is harvested by hand in the reserve surrounding the community, processed and woven by hand. The color comes entirely from plants - no chemicals or machines involved at any point during the process!
