Absolutely gorgeous miniature table and four stools, made by hand of darkest red brown bloodwood (palo sangre). This is the first rendition of a table we are developing this year. One of a kind. The base of the table is intended to look like tree branches, as many tables are made with in the Amazon. The stools are intended to be a snake in motion, with supports at each end. There are repairs to two of the table supports, as shown. The color is outstanding.
This table was entirely handmade by Alirio Liberato in 2024. Alirio was presented with the Medalla de Maestro de Arte Tradicional by the Colombian government in December 2023, one of 900 applicants. We are so lucky to be working with him! Alirio uses a machete to do most of the cutting, then sands with multiple grades of sandpaper and beeswax.
