Let’s get into the rainforest! This is a miniature tree borne fern, a very large specimen called Bird’s Nest Fern, Asplenium serratum. It often grows attached to the host tree, as an epiphyte, and is recognizable for the rows of spores on the bottom of the leaves. Individual leaf fronds can be up to 3 feet long! This miniature is “planted” in such a way that you can mount it in a conservatory, patio, or garden space. Or, start to build a rainforest of your own! Made by Niki.
Approximate diameter: approximately 3”
