Here is a very special miniature made by my dear friend Ali Luis Lopez out of Iquitos, Peru. Ali Luis is a well known teacher throughout the region. He is a soul driven artist who is committed to the unseen life within the rainforest. I love this piece and have held onto it for awhile. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get him to make any more, but if I can sell this one, I’ll keep trying. This table is handcarved of purpleheart, violeta. It features four figures seated under an abstracted tree canopy. It works beautifully as a dollhouse pedestal, accent table, or artwork of its own merit.
