Pelazon Processional Dancers Doll Statue

$150.00

Lazaro Bautista Manduco makes the most incredible and innovative miniatures in our collection. I can’t really order things from him; he makes what he wants and he makes from his heart. His miniatures are the most authentic depictions of Ticuna life and culture. This piece is one example of his most interesting pieces. It depicts five people in the Pelazon procession. Three are women with arms linked in the back, two are men beating drums. It is lively and animated, the drums hang sweetly from the hands of the drummers. It is one of a kind.

Meticulously constructed of yanchama and balso and painted with acrylic. Situated on a narrow panel of wood, like a popsicle stick or tongue depressor.

Height: 7/8”

Length: 2 7/8”
